The crypto world has been buzzing with activity lately, largely due to the surge in popularity of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). As the market for NFTs continues to grow, so too does the number of events dedicated to discussing the technology and the trends surrounding it.

One such event is Camp Decrypt 2022, which will take place in Napa, California. At this event, Toni Thai Sterrett of Bad Grrls Creative Club, Jordan Garbis of BeetsDAO, and Eric Feng of NFT block explorer will join Decrypt’s Kate Irwin to discuss the new landscape for NFT drops. The panelists will explore what’s expected by community members and collectors and the roadmap for new NFT collections.

At Web Summit 2022, which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, Decrypt’s Stephen Graves will take the stage with Tezos co-founder Kathleen Breitman. Breitman will discuss how the Tezos blockchain has used a proof-of-stake mechanism since its inception and how she admires Tendermint, Ethereum, and sharding. She will also talk about progressive decentralization and NFT gaming.

Another event is 0xpo Summit, which will be held in San Francisco in November. Clay Robbins of Slow Ventures, Soona Amhaz of Volt Capital, Sarah Guo of Conviction and formerly Greylock, and Alex Strzesniewski of AngelBlock will join Decrypt’s Jason Nelson to discuss raising venture money even during Crypto Winter.

Finally, the inaugural Crypties Awards from Decrypt Studios in Miami on November 30 will recognize the best projects in the NFT space. Illa Da Producer accepted the Cryptie on behalf of Yuga Labs from presenter Alanna Roazzi-Laforet for Bored Ape Yacht Club, which was voted NFT Project of the Year. The other nominees in the category were Moonbirds, Azuki, DeGods, and CloneX.

It is clear that the crypto world is continuing to innovate and evolve at a rapid pace, and events such as these are a great way to keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry. With more and more events featuring NFTs and related technologies, the future looks bright for the world of cryptocurrency.
