On November 3, Phantom Co-Founder Francesco Agosti was invited to participate at 0xpo Crossroads in San Francisco, where he sat down with Decrypt’s Jason Nelson to discuss the history of Phantom and his outlook for Web3. Francesco’s talk highlighted the success of the popular Solana dapp, as well as his vision for the future of decentralized technology.
Later that month, Tezos Co-Founder Kathleen Breitman took the stage at Web Summit in Lisbon to discuss the advantages of using a proof-of-stake mechanism since the blockchain’s inception. She also touched on her admiration for Tendermint, Ethereum, and sharding, as well as her views on progressive decentralization and NFT gaming.
The Crypties Awards 2022 concluded on November 30 with the presentation of the NFT Project of the Year award. After a hotly contested nomination process, the eventual winner was Bored Ape Yacht Club, represented by Illa Da Producer, who accepted the Cryptie from presenter Alanna Roazzi-Laforet. Other nominees included Moonbirds, Azuki, DeGods, and CloneX.
